06-10-2008 Gold coast Google street view privacy issues, questions on the rise though it looks harmless enough on the surface. BUT what is the darker side of the new generation of technology know as Google street view going to open up. YES there may be problems if you are hiding from other people but you know the saying you can’t hide forever.

Something to think about on the matter of Google street view privacy issues: I feel those of us who are doing nothing wrong have nothing to fear. Yes there are some privacy issues though so far throughout my searching I have not found any people and the photo’s of the houses have no truly identifiable markings that people did not want being seen in the first place.

OH wait I just found some people I think, hang on a second, YES it is life in Southport. Though I found these people I could not identify them. I could see some car registration numbers and probably enhance them but what time and day was the picture taken? So you see after all I feel the google street view will help people more than they realize in the end.

However there are a couple of issues or problems that could be created and solved by this technology. They could be issues of people wagging school or having a sickie from work and not being in the right place. You may find less false arrests because the people can be verified by Police at a certain place and time.

So next time you are questioned by the Police and they ask you where you were on such and such a time or day, you should start to pray that Google street view has YOUR PHOTO for PROOF.

For many years I have followed in the shadows of the most famous guys on the net that is stompernet. In most of this time in one way or another every time I have not had the chance to grab hold of some of the stompernet gold except for the free tidbits.
