Queensland Government departments are BUSINESSES which have been caught lying and performing deceptive and misleading conduct in the course of a business: This is CLEARLY a direct breach of the GOVERNMENT’s own TRADE PRACTICES rules. Supposed Surveys conducted by the LOCAL GOVERNMENT ASSOCIATION OF QUEENSLAND INc ABN 11 010 883 293 in October 2005, and by QUEENSLAND HEALTH ABN 66 329 169 412 in November 2004 CLAIM to have found more than two-thirds of Queenslanders support fluoridation.

It is our understanding that this is another one of those surveys that only a few hundred people were questioned. Then a mathematical formula applied to therefore does not reflect the general population. Almost 90% of people we speak to have voice they do not want Fluoride in the water.

Defluoridation of water may be our only option to prevent further injury by fluorosis caused by excess fluoride in the body. We are wondering who is going to pay the $400 plus per year for our safety and survival by Defluoridating our water.

Lack of water fluoridation doesn’t cause tooth decay; However the Government claims its presence will help prevent decay. As many of us average people do the ADA claims Logic dictates that prevention is better than cure. WELL in that case lets put in extra doses of Lead and Arsenic to help prevent Sun cancer, Malaria.

From the The Australian Dental Association who believes decisions about water fluoridation should be based on sound scientific evidence, not emotion, politics etc.

In that case here are some facts:

"The efficiency of fluoridation programs, amongst other things depends on the people looking after their teeth, a high standard of diet and oral hygiene."

Excessive levels of fluoride in the diet & water can lead to serious health problems, such as skeletal fluorosis. Skeletal fluorosis is a very seriously debilitating disease. In many parts of the world, skeletal fluorosis affects several millions of people.

"The usual chemicals used for fluoridation are: hexafluorosilicic acid, disodium hexafluorosilicate or sodium fluoride."

So Premier Anna Bligh and Health Minister Stephen Robertson which poison are you going to give us all in Queensland?

As you can see the facts out weigh the costs of tooth decay which is more than likely be attributed to the habits of the average person. Such as not cleaning teeth properly, improper diet EG too much FATTY, SUGARY JUNK FOOD containing virtually no nutrition.
